Adulting 101 is a brand-new professional development workshop designed to help the 21-40 year old workforce perfect the art of "adulting".

SO WHAT IS ADULTING? 

Adulting (v): to do grown-up things and hold responsibilities such as, a 9-5 job a mortgage/rent, a car payment, or any other duties or responsibilities expected of fully developed individuals 
 
WHY SHOULD I CARE?

Research indicates that while today's up & coming workforce is leading in technology and innovative practices, they have somehow missed out on the basics of what it means to "be an adult." These same individuals are the future of our businesses and our community.

Employees: It's time to take charge of your future starting TODAY! Adulting 101 features 3 engaging sessions on topics including: Upward Mobility, Smart Saving and Covering Your Assets. In addition to the classes, attendees will also enjoy a "Dance Break" including refreshments and interactive vendor fair.
This event will include three seminars:

• Upward Mobility - How to strategically take your career to the next level
• Cover your Assets - Manage risks and plan for your future
• Smart Savings - Understanding the impact of financial choices, investments, and funding your future

In addition to the professional development seminars listed above, attendees will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with insurance providers, educational institutions, realtors, and local businesses invested in helping young professionals put down roots in Houston County.
