The major event is a photography contest organized by the Fine Arts Alliance of Middle Georgia. Photos must be taken in \n \n \n Houston \n \n \n \n County \n \n \n and will be displayed in the community center on the evening of the market. Cash prizes will be awarded. Some of the photos will be making a tour of Middle Georgia after the competition as well as published in a local magazine. Entries can be picked up at \n \n \n Centerville \n \n \n \n City Hall \n \n \n or the Chamber of Commerce. Or you can email Jeanne Bauer at jbauerconsultant@hotmail.com and she will email an entry form.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Eddie Stone will be providing music at the pavilion. We will have a variety of vendors including antiques\, pottery\, vegetables\, boiled peanuts\, pampered chefs\, breads and desserts\, snow cones\, jewelry\, candles\, and art. We will also have an old fashioned Cake Walk and a raffle for a basket of UGA items including a one of a kind \n \n \n Georgia \n \n \n ball cap. There will be face painting and activities for the kids. Larry Coy will be selling Slaw Dogs and Chili Dogs. Anyone wishing to participate as a vendor can contact Jeanne Bauer at 407/538-7935. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Centerville \n \n \n is creating a Bird Habitat and \n \n \n Butterfly \n \n \n \n Garden \n \n \n . The public is invited to adopt a specific butterfly plant or a plant for the bird habitat for our garden. You can do this by purchasing a marker that will designate your selection.
