A Church With One Goal

At Second Baptist Church we believe if we're not reaching our community with the gospel of Jesus Christ then why are we here? The mission of Second is to create disciples who invest in others within our community, share the love of Christ and see those far from God forever changed through the gospel.

A Church That Makes Disciples

We also seek to be a church that makes disciples within our church family. We believe that a disciple in Christ will be someone who Connects, Grows, and Serves. That's someone who faithfully connects in worship both personally and corporately each week. Someone who grows in their relationship with God through their own devotion time and through faithful fellowship and growth in one of our small groups. Finally, someone who serves both in and through the ministry of our church.

A Church of Diversity

Because we are located in a military town, our church family is made up of diverse age groups and cultures. We have been tremendously blessed to see God providentially direct individuals and families to Second that have servant hearts and willingness to be used of God in ministry.
